Still haven't gotten a digital camera/job
here are some more shoes:
Adidas Country O

Adidas JS Logo

The JS Logos are pretty much impossible to find... and 185$
So I really need a job, considering I have 300$ of shoes I want to buy.

*PS- does anyone know how to put an image directly into a post? Whenever I hit the add images button and upload some, they always wind up being put directly at the top of the post...

///

it was recently recommended to me that I start putting photos in my posts
unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera
yet

so, I'm going to do a post in which I'll put some relevant photos

I've been looking really hard for a job recently and while I was at the mall submitting an application, I went into the footlocker and saw:

the Puma Sky Hi II

I've been looking for these shoes for about 4 years now, they only just started making them again

I also saw these:

ASICS Mexico Mid Runner

once I get a job...

the best of the 80's, 90's, and today

Since I can't embed songs yet, check out my "set list" at blip.fm/articuno

If you haven't heard of it, blip.fm is a site where you can 'blip' songs that you like and make a playlist of sorts for other people to stream. Unfortunately, the site isn't perfect and after awhile some songs stop working. So far, I've been pretty impressed by the selection of songs... they've had probably about 75% of the song's I've been looking for, which is pretty good.

If I had to recommend  3 songs on my playlist that are currently working, I'd choose:

The Dirty Projectors- Stillness is the Move
Animal Collective- Grass
Yaz- Situation

Phoenix

So, this is the first time I've posted in over a year. From now on, I'm going to try and post more frequently, especially since I just changed my layout/got a profile picture.
...
The semester is almost over. Summertime is nearly upon us.

THINGS TO DO:
get a job
drive to Wilmington
American Art History paper
"american sphinx"
figure out how to embed songs into a blog

VIVA-RADIO

So, here's another website you should check out. The URL is www.VIVA-RADIO.com. Pretty much an online radio station that plays really ballin music. I like being able to choose from several different shows simultaneously. Also, this is a great way to find new bands you might be interested in, so after going to this site you can go out and buy the CD, if you can find it. One song I found on the site that I'm now hooked on is "Slow Beat" by the group Escape From New York. Oh yeah, the site is underwritten by American Apparel, so thanks for such an awesome site. I think I might even go down to the local AA store and snag some stuff...

The Hype Machine

So this is a new website I found today. The URL is hypem.com and it actually tracks music blogs to see what are some of the most talked about tracks and artists. This is great because it allows you to get to the interesting aspects of people's blogs (new music) and cuts out the worthless part of the blogs (people's lives). I really like that the "popular" section of the site only has songs that have been posted less than 3 days ago. If it didn't, we'd still be reading about "Paper Planes" and "All my Friends". Which brings up Paper Planes by M.I.A. . Yeah, it's a good song, but it really is getting way over-hyped. OMFG it has gun shots as part of the beat!!!!! I mean... it's ok but it's really not that interesting or original. But at least she's getting more attention. Usually, if my suite mate Patrick plays a song, it's time to stop listening to it... Unfortunately, he's put the track on the three song playlist that he keeps on loop all day. So now it's "Paper Planes", "Where is my Mind?" by The Pixies, and the Death Cab song "Crooked Teeth". Personally, I think that Kala has much better songs to offer, my favorite being Come Around... Well, if you want to listen to it, here is a link to the album:

This is my first blog, so I really have no idea as to how to start one off properly. Anyways, I hope that people get some sort of enjoyment out of this blog...
